The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Facial Electrotherapy is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in; how to provide facial electrical treatments. Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment, how to promote client care and communication in beauty related industries, how to apply micro dermabrasion techniques and the study of dermatology and microbiology.

You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification.

VTCT LEVEL 3 (ITEC) ACCESS TO AESTHETICS

The VTCT Skills (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies is a beauty therapy qualification aimed at learners with no formal background in beauty therapy training, who wish to gain access to additional study of advanced therapy treatments at levels 4 and above. This qualification consists of units at level 2 and 3 combined.

The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Skincare is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills. All mandatory units will need to be completed to ensure you complete this qualification. Within this course you will learn how to provide the following treatments.
Core of Knowledge for Laser & Light Devices, Laser Hair Removal, Microneedling, Skin Peels, Dermaplaning, Radio Frequency and Facial Ultrasound.
This course is aimed at Level 3 qualified practitioners who wish to add a range of advanced aesthetic treatments to their treatment list.

This course requires a Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or a Level 3 in Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent.
This course requires home learning and 3 days in our training centre. Once completed you will receive a VTCT Level 4 qualification, a full skincare starter kit and all the relevant theory and practical knowledge allowing you to gain insurance and offer this treatment to your clients Full Skincare Kit Included.

The VTCT Level 4 Microneedling course is a course that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills. A 16 week course including 3 days in our training centre.

VTCT LEVEL 4 SKIN PEELS

The aim of this qualification is to develop the learner’s knowledge, understanding and practical skills when using superficial skin peel products and techniques to rejuvenate the condition of the skin.

Learners will acquire skills involved in providing a thorough consultation, skin health checks to establish the client’s suitability for treatment and to formulate a specific treatment plan tailored to suit individual client needs. Learners will prepare and apply a range of skin peels as well as providing the relevant pre and post care.
Learners must achieve the following mandatory unit:

VTCT LEVEL 4 ULTRASOUND

The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Ultrasound is an advanced therapy qualification aimed at level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add this therapy to their repertoire of treatment offerings. Learners are required to hold a level 3 beauty therapy qualification or equivalent.

The aim of this qualification is to develop the learners’ knowledge, understanding and practical skills when completing Ultrasound Cavitation treatments for fat removal and to improve the appearance of cellulite.

Learners must achieve the following mandatory unit: 

              Provide ultrasound treatments

Learners will acquire skills in providing a thorough consultation to establish client suitability for treatment and also the knowledge on how to formulate treatment protocol to suit individual client’s needs. Learners will also be able to provide the client with relevant aftercare to maximize treatment results and look after their skin post-treatment.

This qualification is informed by employers and national occupational standards for beauty therapy and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a fully commercial ultrasound practitioner. Learners must achieve all mandatory units which include: 

  • Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies
  • Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies
  • Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies
  • Provide ultrasound treatments

    Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies. They will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing ultrasound treatments. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills and widen their knowledge of the principles and practices of level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies, all of which are valued highly by employers.

    Why is this qualification the most suitable?

    This qualification is one of a new suite of level 4 advanced non-medical aesthetic therapies developed as a progression route for level 3 practitioners wishing to add to their repertoire in specific treatment modalities.

    What could this qualification lead to?

    The primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment in the advanced non-medical aesthetic industry providing Ultrasound techniques. Additionally, learners may choose to further develop their knowledge and skills by completing supplementary specialist qualifications at level 4 in one or more of the following areas: 

  • Skin peeling
  • Skin needling
  • Radio frequency

  • Enhance Appearance using Dermaplaning Techniques 

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant requirements, regulations and safe practice treatment protocols for dermaplaning. FAQ

We offer a variety of courses including beauty, nails, laser hair removal, facial, massage advanced aesthetic skincare course.

Not only do we just teach you both theory and knowledge that you will need to progress in the industry we also offer free valuable business advice too

Course durations vary, ranging from 1 day to 16 weeks.

Our VTCT courses start from 4 weeks. You can work as quick or steady as you like. Course durations are there for your guidance.

Once your assignments are completed you can upload your assignments onto your student portal and one of our team will mark this assignment. Once this is marked as passed we then ask our team of assessors and IQA’s to confirm your passed assignments and if all the work is up to the curriculum standards you will then attend practical training at out training centre.

You will cover all relevant theory, recap information from your student portal and If required complete practical observations and examinations

You can take 3 examination re-sists free of charge. In the unlikely event you do need to re-sit for a fourth time, further costs will be required prior to this.

You are required to bring along an A4 folder with dividers which include your passed assignments, your completed consultation form and a notepad.

We provide refreshments such as tea and coffee. We do recommend bringing along your lunch as the nearest shop is a few minutes drive.
